Time for Fall Yoga!
Lynne Bereza | AUG 21, 2023
Hello Friends,
Welcome to the Breeze Yoga Fall yoga series! I have SO missed my yoga community. Taking the summer off gave me a much-needed break from teaching, but since around the first week in August, I’ve been itching to get back into the studio. I did hold a couple of lovely “Yoga in the Park” sessions, and they were wonderful! But now, I am ready to re-establish a regular yoga practice and I hope you are as well.

I’ve also had lots of time to reflect over the summer, and I’ve made some changes to my offerings for this season. These changes are being made to improve consistency – both yours and mine - and to make sure that I can provide the best possible experience for you.
Read on to see what’s new!
1. 6-Week Class Sessions
Starting September 11, all classes (in-person and via Zoom) will be offered in 6-week blocks that require sign-up for the whole session. I’ve found that most people prefer this system, and I know from personal experience that a regular yoga practice has a far greater impact on your mind and body. It also helps create a sense of community within the class and allows me to plan classes that build on one another, so students can see progress in their practice.
2. No Weekend Classes
This is a tough one for me. As much as I personally enjoy a Saturday morning practice, and know many of my students do as well, I really feel the need to have my weekends un-scheduled. I will still offer a flow class, but it will be on Thursday.
3. Earlier Class Times
I’ve changed to a 5:30 pm start for two of my three evening classes. This allows people who are working to come right after work and then head home and stay put, which is much nicer – especially during the winter months!
4. Cost
With the change to a session format, I am no longer selling class passes for 10 or 20 classes. You will pay only for the session (or sessions) you sign up for, but if you want to sign up for more than one class per session, you will save money:
Note: If you have an existing 10 or 20-class pass you can apply it to any session. Let me know if you’re unsure what is left on your pass.
How to sign up for a session
Visit my website at http://breeze-yoga.ca to register. Payment can be made online by credit card, by e-transfer to l.bereza@shaw.ca, or cash or cheque. (When you register online, select “pay later” unless you want to pay by credit card.

Q & A
What if I miss a class?
If you need to miss a class no worries, I will send you a recording of the class to do at home that will be good for one week. Please note: There will be no refunds for classes missed or carry-overs to the next session. Keeping track of people’s classes taken and not taken has been a bit of a struggle and I am really hoping to not have to do that anymore. Thanks for understanding!
What happens at the end of the 6-week session?
At the end of each session, I will be taking a week off to plan the classes for the next session. This week will also be when any classes that were missed due to stat holidays will be held. I will announce the next session dates before the current session ends, so you have plenty of time to register.
If you have any other questions, please visit my website, send me an email, shoot me a text at 204-871-0517, or DM me on Facebook or Instagram.
In closing…
Thank you for your patience and understanding as I make these changes to my schedule and format. Since I began teaching yoga in 2020, it has been a roller coaster ride, to say the least! Through lockdowns, mask wearing, practicing social distancing and the introduction of online classes, we’ve kept showing up for yoga as a way to quiet our minds, free our bodies, and soothe our souls. I’ve learned that I need to listen to what is in my own heart, first and foremost, and these offerings are what feel right to me, right now.
I hope to see you on the mat soon!
Namaste,
Lynne Bereza
