"This retreat was exactly what my soul needed. From the moment I arrived, the space felt comforting and full of positive energy. The experiences throughout the day were truly therapeutic, helping me let go of what I'd been carrying and reconnect with myself. I left feeling peaceful, open-hearted, and deeply grateful."
-May Leena
"It was a powerful day of restoration and wellness that allowed us to slow down and deeply connect. The time flew by! Everyone was so welcoming. The setting was perfect, spacious yet cozy, and it was such a meaningful way to spend time together as mother and daughter while reconnecting with friends and meeting new people. "
-Jenny
"It was everything I was hoping for and more. I felt the warmth of everyone as soon as I walked in the door. It was truly special. I knew I was supposed to be there, when everything aligned and fell into place. I am looking forward to your next retreat, I cannot wait. So just a short note to say thank you, thank you, thank you! It was a perfectly perfect day."

I am Lynne Bereza, a yoga and breathwork teacher from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. From the first moment I stepped onto a yoga mat, I felt the life-changing effects of this practice on my body and mind. The deep-rooted feeling of peace, well-being, and complete ease yoga brought to me convinced me to become a yoga instructor in 2021. Since then, I've guided classes in flow, yin, restorative, and chair yoga.
It was in a retreat setting that I discovered the power of breathwork. This practice has allowed me to release long-held grief, experience great joy, and uncover deep-rooted trauma. Experiencing this healing convinced me to become a certified breathwork teacher so I can share this powerful practice with others.
While following this path, I have made strong connections with other women who are also pursuing passions in healing modalities. Together, we will bring you not only yoga and breathwork, but block therapy and sound meditation.
This retreat invites you to recharge, rejuvenate, and prioritize self-care, bringing positive energy back to your daily life.
Meditation and Journalling
We will begin the day with a short journaling session to set our intentions, followed by a gentle meditation to ground us in our breath.
Hatha and Restorative Yoga
During our morning Hatha yoga session, we will create energy in our bodies through a series of beginner-friendly poses, connecting our movement with our breath. Later in the afternoon, we will tap into our parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) using the therapeutic benefits of restorative yoga. Using supportive props to hold passive poses, this gentle practice will allow you to enter a state of deep relaxation.
Breathwork
This transformative practice involves using a specific breathing pattern, lying down, to music. The rhythmic breathing in breathwork helps create shifts where the thinking mind decreases, allowing us to access insights, healing, relaxation, and new perspectives.
Block Therapy
Using therapeutic wood blocks crafted from Manitoba elm, learn how to melt through restrictions using the block, diaphragmatic breathing, and body weight.
Time in Nature
We will have time during the day to take in the serene and beautiful surroundings of the retreat centre.
Sound Meditation
Your restorative yoga practice will be accompanied by a soothing sound meditation using the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls
"Can I come to the retreat on my own?"
-Of course! Retreats are a wonderful way to enjoy the day YOU want. There will be time in community with other women, and time for personal reflection and turning inward.
"I've never done yoga, do I need experience?"
-Absolutely not. All my yoga offerings are beginner-friendly and suited to anyone of any age and ability.
"Do I need to bring anything?"
-Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, a journal and pen, and yourself! Other items that can be nice to bring include slippers, an eye mask or eye pillow, and a folded blanket or small pillow. Lunch, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
"What if I need to cancel? Is there a refund?"
-If you cancel your registration up to 7 days before the retreat, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel up to 3 days before the retreat, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 3 days of the event will not be refunded.
